Meet Mendocino Magic!

Reservoir from way above. Pretty, huh?

Mendocino Magic Map

Lay of the Land

While the map is rough in scale, the first thing to know is that our space at Mendocino Magic is MUCH bigger than the one we're used to in Belden. The walk from the camping area in the center to the swimming area above takes about 10-15 minutes. So, we'll migrate the music and activities from place to place throughout each day to keep the campers together.

Arrival & Parking

Upon arrival on your first day, you'll be greeted and directed to the tent camping area. You'll unload your vehicle, and then park close to the entrance, which is no more than a 3-minute walk away. If you need to camp closer to your car, that can be accommodated, but it will be in a different camping area, and we'd love to keep us all together. Still, if that's the case, just let us know.

General Camping

The central camping area is where we'll spend our mornings and evenings. Luxe tents are located behind the camp stage, mixed into the surrounding trees but in the same relative space. The stage in this area will be the location of the parties on Thursday and Saturday nights, and those will be somewhat quieter affairs, but still, if you're a light sleeper, might want to pack some ear plugs. Friday night will be wild, but that's off somewhere else, out of earshot... out in space.

Daytime on the Water

As is CFIU tradition, the afternoons will be WET! Be prepared for the walk to the water; bring everything you'd need for a day on the lake: towels, coolers, food, drinks... you won't want to hike back and forth multiple times. If you have a wagon, you probably want to bring it. There will be a small beach, though since this area is underwater for part of the season, don't expect much sand. No matter though, since we'll be spending the day on our floaties. Speaking of... BRING YOUR EPIC FLOATIES! The water is wide open and wonderfully still.

Daytime activities will be held nearby, and music will be bumping from the Daytime DJ Stage across the water on Friday and Saturday from Noon to 6:00, after which we'll head back to camp for evening festivities.
